Job Description
The Perl Developer is responsible for developing and supporting web applications and various scripts. Duties include writing and supporting software in PERL, Bash, possibly Python and other tools.


Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• Must be able to work well in teams and independently

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Have a strong understanding of networks and operating systems, including IP networks, Linux, UNIX, Windows NT/2000/2003, and enterprise database systems

• Good PERL scripting skills

• Good Linux and Windows programming skills

• Experience writing and supporting software in PERL, Bash, Python

• Experience with mod_perl and CGI

• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
